Contacts tab in the pop-up for Address Book entry
When working with a contact, you may need to check other contacts in the company or information about the parent company. For example, if you have a task with a contact who is on vacation, you need to work with another contact in the company. Now, the Contacts tab has been added to the pop-up for Address Book entries. This allows you to quickly switch to another contact or the company.
Clicking an entry in the Contacts tab will switch to the Details tab to show information about that entry. Actions will be performed on the selected entry.
Note: The contact tab will appear wherever any address book entry dialogue pop-up is accessible including Global search, Tasks, Opps Viewer, Activity Tracker and more.
Option for moving interaction logs when moving a contact to another company
Currently, when a contact is moved from one company to another, if the source entry is deleted, the interaction logs are copied to the target entry. However, you might not always want to move the interaction logs to the new company, as they are related to the previous company.
In this release, you can decide whether to move the interactions to the target entry or keep them with the previous company.
A new option "Copy interaction logs to the target entry" is added to the Move Selected Contact dialog. (The dialog can be accessed from Edit menu > Move Selected Contact)
If you want to keep the interaction logs in the previous company, leave "Copy interaction logs to the target entry" unchecked. When the source entry is deleted, the interaction logs with the source entry will be moved to the previous company.
If you want to move a contact to a new company, check the target entry to make sure that everything has been copied correctly and then delete the source entry, you should check "Copy interaction logs to the target entry" without deleting the source entry.
When combinining two Address Book entries, the interaction logs will always be copied to the target entry regardless of whether the source entry is deleted or not.
Support rich text in appointment Description field
Rich text format is supported in the Description field in Appointment dialog. You can add title, bullet points, and links into the description.
Note that if you use the desktop Outlook add-in to sync appointments, the format in Description field will be removed after the appointment is synced to Outlook and synced back to Maximizer. Only plain text will be displayed in the Description field.
Cases - Open the Resolved Case dialog when closing a case
When a case is moved into a column for resolving cases (e.g., Abandoned or Resolved), the Resolved Case dialog will open with the corresponding status selected. This ensures users enter all the necessary information when they close a case.
Tasks - Select multiple tasks quickly
You may have many tasks and can't finish them all in a day. You might want to quickly move some tasks to another date or assign them to a colleague. Now, you can select multiple tasks quickly by pressing the Shift key and clicking.
Note that you cannot select multiple tasks by pressing the Shift key and clicking in the column for checkboxes.
