New Data Model Available
Starting on M6 our Insights users are going to be able to build reports based on 3 new data tables:
- Revenue Targets
- Activity Targets
- Timeline
Each table is populated with CRM records available as system fields in Maximizer. We’ll walk you through each one of them and where they are generated.
Revenue Targets
We have 2 different types of Targets, Revenue and Activities. Let’s start with where the targets are generated and then which aggregated data is available based on the data.
If you access the Targets module and create Revenue Targets, you will be able to define the amount of revenue per month and quarter.
If you want to build a dashboard to track and monitor the Revenue vs Target, you can use the Insights data selector to pick and choose the data fields available:
Revenue Targets
Label in Insights | Type | Description |
Corporate Currency Code | Text | This will display the currency code of the record. (CAD, USD, GBP, etc.) |
Corporate Revenue | Numeric | This will display the total WON corporate revenue of the individual or the sales team. This data is pulled from the Opportunities module and is based on the corporate revenue field. |
Corporate Target | Numeric | This will display the total revenue target defined by the user. |
Create Date | Date | This data field will track the date when the target was created by the user |
Identification | Numeric | Unique key ID for every target |
Revenue | Numeric | This will display the total WON revenue of the individual or the sales team. This data is pulled from the Opportunities module and is based on the revenue field. |
Sales Team | Text | This will display the name of the sales team. |
Target | Numeric | This will display the total amount of the revenue target defined by the user. |
Target Currency Code | Text | This will display the currency code of the target. (CAD, USD, GBP, etc.) |
Target End Date | Date | This will display the due date of the target. The end date will always be the last day of the month. |
Target Leader | Text | The owner of the target. |
Target Revenue Type | Text | This will display the revenue type of the target. |
Target Start Date | Date | This will display the start date of the target. The start date will always be the first day of the month. |
Go to Insights and access the data select window. There are 2 ways to find the data fields available, you can scroll down, or you can search for keywords, like “Target”.
As an example, we want to track our Current Revenue (WON Opportunities) in this Year vs. The Revenue Targets.
For that we are going to use 3 fields from our Revenue Targets data model:
- Target End Date: This will display the due date of the target. The end date will always be the last day of the month.
- Target Leader: Who is the owner of the Target.
- Corporate Revenue: This will display the total WON corporate revenue of the individual or the sales team. This data is pulled from the Opportunities module and is based on the corporate revenue field.
By using these 3 data points, we can have a data visualization chart like the image below:
Activity Targets
You can create Activity Targets in the Targets module and assign them per Individual or per Team. You can change this configuration in the Settings page.
When creating targets, you define the date, owner and the amount per month/quarter/year.
The Activity Targets table is built using all these aggregated data, these are the fields/columns available:
Activity Targets
Label in Insights | Type | Description |
Category | Text | This will display the Category type created in the Settings page. |
Create Date | Date | This data field will track the date when the target was created by the user |
Identification | Text | Unique key ID for every target |
Interaction Count | Numeric | Number of activities, this will be aggregated data |
Interaction Type | Text | This will display the Interaction type created in the Settings page. |
Target | Numeric | This will display the number of activities set as a target by the user. |
Target End Date | Date | This will display the due date of the target. The end date will always be the last day of the month. |
Target Leader | Text | The owner of the target. |
Target Start Date | Numeric | This will display the start date of the target. The start date will always be the first day of the month. |
In Insights, you will find all these fields available in the data select window, you can scroll through the available data fields, or you can search for keywords like “Activity” or “Target”.
For example, if we want to track and monitor a Sales Rep performance regarding his/her daily activities vs targets, we can use 3 main fields:
- Target End Date
- Target Leader (Owner)
- Interaction Type
By using these 3 fields, you will be able to build widgets like the examples below:
Timeline
In Maximizer we use the Timeline tab to see the history of the Interactions or Activities logged by the users, this exists in the:
- Address Book
- Opportunities
- Leads
This means that the Timeline table available in Insights will be populated using the 3 modules as a data source.
This is the data model available:
Timeline
Label in Insights | Type | Description |
Category | Text | This will display the Category type created in the Settings page. |
Completed | Numeric | This will sum the number of activities that have been done per Interaction Type |
Create Date | Date | This data field will track the date when the Interaction was created by the user |
Date | Date | This data field will track the date when the Interaction was defined to happen. For example, if an appointment was scheduled for July/2024, this will be the data stored in this field. |
Direction | Text | This data field will display the interaction's direction in the case the user has defined as a bidirectional interaction. |
Duration | Numeric | This data field will track in seconds the total amount of time that the interaction has been open. |

Interaction Type | Text | This will display the Interaction type created in the Settings page. |

For example, if we want to know what has Michael boon been working on over the last couple of weeks, we can have a consolidated timeline report which will display what Interactions/Activities Michael is focusing on:
