Maximizer Cloud 2024.1 Release Notes
Opportunities – Support conditional mandatory rules based on opportunity stages
Mandatory rules based on the opportunity stage are now supported. Sales leaders can set certain fields as mandatory when opportunities reach a stage. This will ensure the key data will be captured in each stage.
When setting up conditional mandatory rules for an opportunity field, you can add the Stage field to the formula. In the example below, the “Timeframe to purchase” field will become mandatory when an opportunity using the “Sales Process” reaches the “Proposal” stage.
This is a sample description of what the app is supposed to do.
Note:
The Stage field is also available for creating formula user-defined fields for opportunities.
When an opportunity changes stage, if a mandatory rule is triggered, the mandatory fields will appear in the Key Field list. If the mandatory fields are not in the current Key Field list, they will be added to the list for editing the values.
*In Sales Leader Edition, if you move a card in the Opps Viewer to a new stage and it triggers a mandatory rule, the pop-up for editing opportunity will open. You need to enter the values into the mandatory fields. After that, the card will be moved into the new stage.
Import – Stop failed import in the initializing stage
In the previous release, if your import is stuck in the initializing stage, there is no way to stop it. You need to contact Maximizer technical support to stop the import process. Now you can click the Abort button to stop the process. Once you click the Abort button, the row will be removed.
Enhancement in Global Search
When you perform a global search, you do not need to press the Enter key or click the search button to get the results. The search results will start appearing while you are typing. As you continue typing, the results will be refined to match the search query.
Administrator - Option to stop sending notification emails for cases
If your business does not require email notification when customer service cases are created, assigned, escalated, or resolved, you can turn off all the notification emails in the Administrator module. The option can be found in Administrator > Preferences > Customer Service > Notification tab.
If you turn off notification emails for cases in Administrator, the email-related options in Resolve Case, Assign Case, and Escalate Case dialogs will be disabled.
Leads - Support phone extension in leads
Phone extension fields are now supported in leads. You can edit phone extensions in the Add / Edit Lead screen. Phone extensions are supported in the import tool when importing leads. When a lead is converted to an Address Book entry, the values in phone extension fields will be copied to the corresponding fields in the Address Book entry.
System emails
There is a refreshing new look for the emails that send the verification code for the mobile app.
New Integration Types in the App Directory
There will be new naming for integration types and corresponding tags to better categorize our apps in the App Directory.
New Integration Types:
1. 'By Maximizer': all direct and built-in connections between Maximizer and another application without the need of additional software or integration tools.
2. ‘By 3rd Party’: Allows you to connect Maximizer with an application built by an external 3rd party or via no-code automation tools like Zapier.
User Permission in Insights and Sales Intelligence
To maintain security rules consistency across our platform, we need to follow the security rules at the system level. This means that starting on January 2024, Insights and Sales Intelligence will follow the export permissions configuration.
As a Maximizer administrator, you will be able to restrict each user’s privileges to export dashboards.
This security rule will apply to the following options:
1. Export PDF reports.
2. Export widgets as images.
We follow the same pattern as it already exists in the user's privilege rules, see the example:
Each checkbox contains one of the following potential values:
The following table illustrates user access rights derived from user and group access settings.
If the user belongs to more than one group, the conflict illustrated below results in the user not being granted the access right.
According to the User Access Right, if the privileges are toggled OFF, meaning that the user won't be allowed to "export", then we will disable the UI to block him from performing any export.
The steps to enable/disable the export privileges are:
1. Log in to your Maximizer account as a system administrator.
2. Access the “Administrator” page.
3. Go to the left pane menu and click the “Users” option.
4. Click on the “Access Rights” tab. Then you will see the Privileges options and the “allow export” checkbox (red rectangle).
5. Enable or disable that option according to what you need.
Where can I export my dashboards?
The only place where we allow exports in Sales Intelligence and Insights is on the PDF button and click on the 3 dots to download PDFs and/or images.
These buttons will show up according to the user's privilege configuration.
- If the user can export, then he/she will be able to see these buttons in the UI.
- If the user is NOT allowed to export, then these buttons will be hidden.
- This privilege configuration doesn’t affect other functions.
This is how the users will see whenever the buttons are hidden:
