What Is Zapier?
Zapier is an online automation tool that allows you to connect Maximizer with thousands of other apps, such as Calendly, Unbounce, Teams, Constant Contact, and more. It enables the connection of two or more apps to automate repetitive tasks without the need for coding. The platform is user-friendly, enabling anyone to construct their own automation workflows with just a few clicks.
For instance, you may receive numerous form submissions in your Unbounce account and wish to generate new leads in Maximizer from each submission. Instead of manually reviewing and transferring every value from the form submission (such as respondent’s name, surname, phone, and email) to corresponding fields in Maximizer, Zapier can do it automatically, saving you time and effort.
Note: Maximizer's integration with Zapier is designed for automating simple and routine tasks previously performed manually. Attempts to update a significant number of Maximizer records, especially those involving multiple User Defined Fields (UDFs), with a Zap may result in integration performance issues. We strongly recommend exploring alternative solutions for managing bulk updates to Maximizer entries to ensure optimal system performance and user experience.
Zapier Glossary
- Zapier: An integration platform that connects over 6,000+ web apps and APIs together into multi-step, automated, customizable workflows.
- Zap: An automated Zapier workflow connecting your apps. Every Zap consists of a trigger and one or more actions.
- Trigger: An event in an app that starts the Zap. Once you set up a Zap, Zapier will monitor the app for that event, and will start a workflow when new or updated data is added to that app, either by Zapier polling the API to check for new data or with notification REST webhooks that push new data to Zapier.
- Action: An app integration step that finds, creates, or updates data in the app through a Zapier workflow using an HTTP PUT or POST request to the API.
- Search Action: An app integration step that finds data in an app through a Zapier workflow, optionally with a create action to add an item if nothing is found.
- Filter: A built-in Zapier action step with conditional values to watch for specific data and only continue the workflow if certain conditions are met.
- Paths: Zapier’s conditional workflow tool that combines Filters and Actions to create multiple outcomes for workflows.
- Formatter: A built-in Zapier action to customize text, numbers, dates, and other data.
- Delay: A built-in Zapier action to wait a specified amount of time before running the remainder of the workflow.
- Input Fields: Individual data received from trigger and action steps in Zapier, used to map data to action steps.
- Task: A task is any successful action that a Zap performs. Every task your Zap performs is another task that you don't have to do manually.
