We’ve expanded the existing Business Card Scanning capability into a more powerful Smart Capture feature, making it easier than ever to bring information into Maximizer.
With Smart Capture, you can do more than just create new leads or contacts from business cards — you can also create CRM notes from any image you take. Whether it’s a handwritten note, a printed document, or a datasheet, simply snap a picture or upload an image and let AI convert it into editable text. You can review, edit, and save the note directly to a contact or lead without leaving the app.
Smart Capture makes it effortless to:
Capture handwritten notes or meeting takeaways on the go
Save information from printed materials, business cards, or forms
Automatically recognize contact details and create new leads or contacts
Availability:
Smart Capture is available to Cloud Maximizer users on version 2025.9 or above, once enabled by an Administrator through the AI Hub in the web application.
Clients on earlier Cloud versions or on-premise setups can continue using Note Capture, which uses the device’s native image-to-text capability (no AI required).
This separation ensures full data control and security while providing a seamless capture experience for all users.
How to Enable Smart Capture
To enable Smart Capture for your Maximizer users, follow these steps:
Sign in to Maximizer as an Administrator.
Navigate to the AI Hub in the web Maximizer application.
Toggle on IQ Boost – this activates controls for AI features.
Toggle on Smart Capture – this enables the feature for all mobile users within your organization.
That’s it, no payment or additional setup is required.
The AI Hub is designed to provide granular administrative control over AI capabilities for security and compliance purposes.
