With Outlook Sync, you can:
✅ Sync emails – Automatically save sent and received emails to selected contacts or leads in Maximizer. You can also save individual emails as you send them in Outlook.
✅ Sync calendar – Sync Outlook appointments to Maximizer. They will be automatically linked to contacts and leads for accurate interaction and activity tracking.
✅ Sync contacts – Keep Outlook and Maximizer contacts updated automatically.
✅ Sync tasks – Seamlessly manage tasks between Maximizer and your Outlook To-Do List.
There are different ways Maximizer users can enable the sync capabilities for Microsoft Outlook.
Let's start with the recommended approach.
Installing Outlook Sync from the Maximizer app for Outlook
Maximizer Cloud customers can leverage sync capabilities as part of our modern Outlook integration.
Getting started is easy:
1️⃣ Open the Maximizer CRM app in Outlook. If you haven’t installed it yet, get it from the Microsoft Store.
2️⃣ Click on the top-right hamburger menu and select Enable sync capabilities.
3️⃣ Confirm your authentication, then choose the data types you’d like to sync, and Save your preferences.
You can also initiate the sync installation by clicking on the Email Auto-save toggle from the entry details page in your Maximizer sidebar.
⚠️ Important: If you're using the old Outlook desktop integration, enabling the new sync will permanently disable the old syncs.

Installing Outlook Sync from the Maximizer App Directory
1️⃣ Navigate to the App Directory in Maximizer and select the Microsoft Outlook Sync card.
2️⃣ On the Microsoft Outlook Sync page, click the Get it now button to enable the integration and start the process of connecting your accounts.
3️⃣ A new screen will appear, requesting your Maximizer credentials. Please enter the credentials that you use daily to access Maximizer.
4️⃣ Once validated with Maximizer, you'll be prompted to connect to your Microsoft account.
Note: The connection process may differ depending on your organization's security protocols. For example, you might need to complete a two-factor authentication step using Microsoft Authenticator.
*Additionally, enabling the integration may require admin permissions based on your organization’s Microsoft policy configuration. Please note that Outlook Sync integration operates exclusively with delegated permissions.
5️⃣ Once connected, a Configuration page will appear:
Select the desired tab and enable the sync by toggling the setting on.

Click the Save Changes button to apply the configuration.

*To monitor the status of your sync, access synchronization details, and manage synchronization settings, click the Configure button on the Microsoft Outlook Sync page in the App Directory.
