Effective communication with Leads is essential for any financial services provider. Storing all email correspondence in your CRM is not only a compliance requirement, but it also centralizes all communications, making it easier for you and your team to access and manage them.
Whether you are expressing gratitude for their interest, celebrating a birthday or anniversary, or nurturing Leads, email is a vital tool in your communication arsenal.
The Leads module enables you to send emails to individual Leads or simultaneously reach out to multiple Leads, streamlining your communication efforts.
Sending an email to a single lead
In the Leads module, click on the name or contact information of the lead.
Click on the lead's email address.
The Send Email dialog box appears. To add more email recipients, click the To, Cc, or BCC buttons.
Compose your email and click SEND when finished.
Use the toolbar icons and font drop-down lists to format your message.
- Click the Attach File icon to select file attachments to send with the email message.
- Select Send a copy of this message to myself to automatically send a carbon copy of the email message to your email address.
Sending an email to multiple Leads
In the Leads main screen, select the records you want to email. Click the Email button.
The Send Email dialog box opens. The TO field will show Merge to list and Send as will default to Separately.
The "Merge to List" and "Send Separately" functions operate like a BCC feature, ensuring each selected recipient receives an individual email without being aware that the same message has been sent to multiple people.
When ready to send the email, click SEND.
The body of the email will be saved as a note and will appear in Timeline along with the email of the records selected.
