To complete this procedure; you must have Insert permission for Accounts. To copy the associated notes or files you must also have Insert permission for notes or files. |
Use this procedure to create a new account from an existing Account. You have the option of copying all notes; files; appointments; and tasks associated with the entry.
- Click on the Account to make it the current entry.
- Select Edit > Duplicate Current Account.
- The Duplicate Entry dialog box opens.
- Select the entries that you want to copy to the new entry; and click OK.
- Notes duplicates all notes associated with the current entry.
- Files duplicates all document.
- Appointments and tasks duplicates incomplete appointments and tasks associated with the current entry.
