Create a Lead Using a Gmail Contact
Using the Google Workspace Add-on; you can create a lead without having to log in to MAXIMIZERCRM. The add-on communicates with MAXIMIZERCRM; and creates a lead with the configuration you specify; thereby eliminating the need to switch between your Gmail account and MAXIMIZERCRM.
To create a lead:
- Open your Gmail account.
- Open the email from which you want to save details of the senders or receivers.

Click the MAXIMIZERCRM icon in the right pane to open the MAXIMIZERCRM Add-on dialog box. The sender and receiver email addresses appear under the Add New Contacts to Maximizer CRM list.
- Click REFRESH if you do not see the email address of your interest.
- Click ADD next to the email address that you want to add to MAXIMIZERCRM.
Note: If you have not opened an email; the Maximizer Add-on dialog box displays a message indicating that you must either open an email or choose an action from the menu.
- Click CONTINUE next to New Maximizer Lead.
- Provide the following:
Field | Description |
First Name | The first name of the Gmail contact who will be associated with the new lead. |
Last Name | The last name of the Gmail contact who will be associated with the new lead. |
Company Name | The name of the company that will be associated with the lead. |
Phone Information |
The main phone number; fax number; and the cell number of the contact.

Email Information | The email address that can be associated with this individual. Email 1 is populated with the email address you selected in step 5. Provide Email 2 and Email 3. |
Process | The process that is associated with this lead. |
Stage | The stage associated with this lead. |
- To associate a task with this lead; click Create a Task.

To create the lead; click CREATE LEAD.

To create a new lead and save the associated email in the Documents panel; click CREATE LEAD & SAVE EMAIL.
