Only Maximizer users with admin rights can install and configure the integration.
- Open the App Directory in Maximizer and select the SurveyMonkey card.Note: If you're already signed into SurveyMonkey in this browser, that account will be automatically used for the integration. To connect a different account, either open Maximizer in a private browsing mode and install the integration or log out of SurveyMonkey before proceeding with the installation.
- On the SurveyMonkey page click the Setup button to enable the integration for the database.

- A new screen will appear, requesting your Maximizer credentials. Please enter the credentials that you use daily to access Maximizer.
- Once validated with Maximizer, you'll see a confirmation of successful installation. You can then proceed to the Configuration page.
Configuration
To sync survey responses to Maximizer, select the survey in Configuration settings, define mapping rules for specific question responses, and set criteria for matching respondents. You can also enable lead generation and specify when survey data should override Maximizer fields.
- On the SurveyMonkey page in App Directory, the integration should appear as connected, and the Configuration button should be active.
If the Configuration button remains inactive after a successful installation, try refreshing the page.
- On the Configuration page, use the toggle at the top to enable the integration. You can also use this toggle to temporarily disable the integration at any time.
- To sync survey responses to Maximizer, toggle on the Save Responses to Maximizer option for the surveys you want to be synced.
- To save specific question responses to Maximizer system or custom fields, define the mapping rules in the Settings for each survey.
- You can also set additional criteria to match survey respondents to Maximizer entries, choose to generate new Leads from specific surveys, and update existing Maximizer entries with new survey responses.
- To define the field mapping rules, click on the Edit icon for the survey question you’d like to be saved to Maximizer.
- In the Field Mapping Settings, select the Maximizer system or custom field for each entry type you want to update with new survey responses. If you choose to generate new Leads, this mapping will also populate the Lead details.
- In the Rule column of the Field Mapping table, you can specify whether Maximizer fields should be overridden with survey responses or only updated if the field is empty.
- Click the SAVE button to apply the configuration. You can then close the Configuration Settings and return to Maximizer.
- To monitor the sync status and edit settings, click the Configuration button on the SurveyMonkey page in the App Directory. You'll see a list of all surveys that are syncing, or are available for syncing, along with the option to open them in SurveyMonkey for editing. You can also view details such as the survey creation date, the number of responses submitted, the number of responses synced to Maximizer, and the last sync time.
