Pre-Installation
On-premise users need to log in with their OAuth client ID and a Secret, along with the Server Domain.
To be able to connect your Maximizer account to the Maximizer CRM extension for Teams, your system admin needs to register a new OAuth 2.0 client in your on-premise database.
- An admin user should navigate to Maximizer > Administrator > Preferences > System Options > List of Approved OAuth 2.0 Clients and Add a new client.
- Then in the OAuth 2.0 Settings, enter the details for the new OAuth 2.0 client:
Name: i.e., Maximizer MS Teams Extension
Client ID: Generated by the system
Client Secret: Generated by the system
Redirect URI: https://ca1.maximizercrmlive.com/msTeams/Authenticate/OnPremiseRedirect
This redirect URL should be used regardless of your location (e.g. UK, NA). - After creating the OAuth client, you can Sign In to the Maximizer CRM extension for Microsoft Teams.
Installation
- You can install the Maximizer CRM extension for your Teams app directly from Microsoft’s AppSource. Open the https://appsource.microsoft.com/ and search for Maximizer CRM for Teams.

Alternatively, while in your Microsoft Teams app, navigate to Apps in the left-side menu and search for Maximizer CRM.Direct link: https://teams.microsoft.com/l/app/6310eff3-6f73-0719-95a8-facd1aa72c23?source=app-details-dialog
- Then, click on the Get It Now or button or Add button accordingly to install the app.
- Before you can start using the extension, you need to connect your Maximizer account. To do so, open any Teams message and select the small “+” icon below the box where you normally type a message. This will expand the list of your installed apps. Select Maximizer CRM.
- In the opened extension interface, click Sign In.
- An authentication screen will pop up. First, select the authentication type. If you are an On-premise Maximizer customer, select On-Premise.
- Then, specify your on-premise Environment URL, Client ID, and Client Secret.
- Once validated with Maximizer, you'll be all set to use the extension.
