Import Templates
We have created these templates to help you prepare your data for importing:
Importing a Company and Contacts using the Import Template
- The sample file includes two rows. Each row contains the information of a company and a contact of that company.
- Go to Import; and click File Import (XLS; CSV; TAB).
- In Import Manager screen; click Start a new import. Upload the sample CSV file by clicking Select a file.
- In What record type(s) does your import file contain section; select Contain Company information and Contacts that belong to them.
Click Next.
- Under; During the import; select add new records and make updates to existing records.
Under; If a record exists; select update only empty Maximizer fields with data from the import file.
Click Next.
- Map the fields in the sample file to Maximizer company and contact fields. You need to specify at least one company field and one contact field to be used to find the existing entries in Maximizer.
