If Windows detects that Outlook is slower to start, it will disable add-ons which may include the Maximizer add-in. Users will no longer see the Maximizer tab in the Outlook ribbon bar.
To re-enable the Maximizer Outlook Integration
- Go to File > Slow and Disabled COM Add-ins.
- This will show all the add-ins currently causing Outlook to start slowly. Select the Options > Always enable this add-in then click Apply.
- Select how long to disable the monitoring. We recommend using Do not monitor this add-in for the next 30 days > Apply.
- Click Close and the Maximizer tab should now be visible in the Outlook Ribbon.
- If the Maximizer tab still does not show on your Outlook ribbon after following the above steps, go to Options > Add-ins.
- In the bottom of that screen under Manage, select Disabled Items from the pull down menu and choose Go...
From the Disabled Items pop up window, select the Maximizer CRM Outlook Add-in and click Enable. Close down the window, then click OK on the other window.
The Maximizer Add-in should show up on your Outlook ribbon. You may need to fully restart your Outlook.
If you see an ADD-IN ALERT bar with the text: "Outlook detected an issue with the add-in Maximizer CRM Web Access Outlook Integration. It caused Outlook to start slowly" you can click View More Details... to skip ahead and ensure the add-in is enabled. If you require further assistance, please contact our support department via email at support@maximizer.com.
