Overview
In the fast-paced world of financial advisory, preparation is paramount for effective client interactions. However, advisors often find themselves spending precious hours sifting through CRM records, time that could otherwise be used to foster client relationships and deliver strategic advice. Enter IQ Boost, an artificial intelligence/AI tool integrated within Maximizer CRM, designed to transform how advisors prepare for meetings, maintain compliance, and seize opportunities.
Navigating the IQ Boost Main Screen
To get to the IQ Boost main screen, go to the Details tab of any Maximizer record, click the IQ Boost button to open the IQ Boost main screen:
The IQ Boost main screen is divided into three sections - highlighted below for easy identification:
- Top bar - Displays the settings set by the Maximizer Administrator and grants access to Security Center.
- Prompts - A list of preconfigured prompts to help you get started and gain valuable insight into your CRM records.
- Ask a question - pose a question using natural language about your data and experience the power of IQ Boost.
Top bar:
This section displays the Admin settings that the Maximizer Administrator has selected for the Maximizer environment. It displays whether the Anonymizer is turned on, the location of the servers that process the data, the Data source and grants users access to the Security Center.
- Anonymizer - Protects personal information. It automatically hides private details, like names and Social Insurance Numbers, before sharing data with an AI model. For example, "John Smith" might be changed to "Anonymized" or "<FIRSTNAME>." This helps keep data safe and ensures compliance with privacy rules. This setting can be toggled on and off once in the Security Center by the advisor or support staff member giving them greater flexibility and control of their data.
- Servers - Tells the user where the servers are hosted that process the data, important for meeting data residency and compliance needs. By default, data is handled on Canadian servers, ensuring it stays within the country to meet local rules. This helps advisors follow regional laws and privacy standards. This setting is set and can only be changed by the Maximizer Administrator.
- Data source - Determines where information for IQ Boost comes from. The safest setting is the "Maximizer Database," which limits data access to your internal CRM system. This ensures all processed data stays within a secure environment, preventing access to sensitive information on the public internet. This option reduces the risk of exposing client data externally. This setting is set and can only be changed by the Maximizer Administrator.
Security Center
Clicking on Security Center in the top of the IQ Boost bar opens the Security Center window. From here, Financial Advisors and their support team can toggle on and off the Anonymizer, control the Data Scope and Data Types that IQ Boost will consider and pull data from. In Security Center, the users will be able to see which settings are controlled by their Maximizer Administrator - those settings cannot be changed unless the Administrator changes them. The settings are the AI in Use and the Data Source.
Security Center Window
- Data Scope - Data Scope is a setting that lets financial advisors decide how much data IQ Boost uses and for how long, impacting response accuracy and cost. Expanding the scope improves response quality with more context but raises costs. Reducing the scope saves money but might make responses less accurate. Advisors can adjust Data Scope to balance detailed answers and cost-efficiency, optimizing AI performance for their needs.
- Data Types - Data types are categories of information, like notes, emails, and files, that you can select to send to an AI model for analysis. This feature lets users customize and control the types of data the AI processes, ensuring that only relevant information is shared. Advisors and their support team can tailor these settings independently, without admin restrictions. This allows them to balance data privacy with the benefits of AI, protecting sensitive information while improving decision-making.
