You can track outgoing phone calls from the main lists in the Contact List, Accounts, Client Service, or Hotlist page.
If Voice-Over IP (VOIP) or Instant Messaging (IM) integrations are configured, you can select the integration to launch the VOIP or IM software automatically from Maximizer.
You can also take notes on the phone call while the duration is being timed. Depending on your logging preferences, an outgoing call note is automatically saved to the Contact List entry, Client Service case, or Account associated with the call. On the Hotlist page, the note is saved to the Contact List entry associated with the task. On the Hotlist page, you can log a phone call only from a task associated with a single Contact List entry.
Click on the Contact List entry, Account, Client Service case or Hotlist task to make it the current entry.
- Select Actions > Make a Call.

Select the desired record, right mouse-click and select Phone > Make a Call.

In the Details tab of a Contact List entry select the Make a call icon.

In the Details tab of Contact List, Accounts or Client Service case, under Actions, select Make a call.
- From the drop-down list, select the VOIP/IM application and phone number you are calling, and click Dial.
- The VOIP or IM software is launched.
If VOIP or IM are not configured, select the entry you want to call.
- Choose the record you want to call and select Actions > Make a call.
- The Interaction window pops up. It will identify that it is an outgoing phone call.
- Subject is a mandatory field so you will need to enter a subject or choose from the drop down list .
- The Result pull down menu will track the result of the phone call. Results can be added under Administration > Settings> Interactions> System Fields > Result.
- In Details you can enter any information you want to capture about the call.
- Above Details you can click the Play button to start tracking the duration of the call.
- The Stop button will stop tracking the call duration.
- Once the call duration has been stopped, you can continue to capture your call notes under Details.
- When finished click Save.
- The phone call that was captured will show under Timeline, Interactions and Notes.
