In Maximizer you can convert the following types of entries:
- Households can be converted to Companies
- Households can be converted to Contacts
- Contacts can be converted to Households
| You cannot convert a Company to a Household or convert a Company to a Contact. |
In this example we will convert Contacts to Households.
Select the entries you are looking to convert.
- Click Edit > Convert Contacts to Households.
A message will pop up asking if you are sure you want to continue with the conversion. Click OK.
A follow up message will pop up prompting you if you would like to use the existing address for the new household record. Click Yes.
Once the conversion has ended, the entries will now display as the record type that you chose to convert them to:
If you are selecting Convert Households to Contacts, You will be asked to select which Company/Household from your database entries you wish to associate these entries with.
| If you want to Convert several Households to Contacts of multiple different companies, these conversions will need to be completed separately as you can just select one company at a time to associate these newly converted contacts with. |
