To complete this procedure; you must have the Insert permission for Contact List entries. To copy the associated accounts; client service cases; notes; or files you must also have the Insert permission for each type of entry. |
Use this procedure to create a new Contact List entry from an existing Contact List entry. You have the option of copying all accounts; client service cases; notes; files; appointments; and tasks associated with the entry.
- Click on the Contact List entry to make it the current entry.
- Select Edit > Duplicate Current Entry.
The Duplicate Entry dialog box opens.
- Select the entries that you want to copy to the new entry; and click OK.
- Accounts duplicates all accounts associated with the current entry.
- Client Service duplicates all client service cases associated with the current entry.
- Notes duplicates all notes associated with the current entry and any notes associated with duplicated accounts or client service cases.
- Files duplicates all files associated with the current entry and any files associated with duplicated accounts or client service cases.
- Appointments and tasks duplicates incomplete appointments and tasks associated with the current entry and any incomplete appointments and tasks associated with duplicated accounts or client service cases.
