Maximizer provides you with various settings that give a great deal of flexibility in how you work—in other words, Maximizer adapts to the way you want to work.
Set Personal Preferences
You can set personal preferences that affect the Maximizer interface.
- In the top-right corner of the page, click on the Preferences and Settings icon, and select Personal Preferences.
- The Preferences and Settings dialog box opens.
- Select Personal Preferences. The dialog opens and displays the screen below.
From this screen you can set the following:
Maximum number of entries returned
Choose the maximum number of records to display in search results. Increasing this number might result in longer search times.
Display Blank UDFs
You have the option to display blank User Defined Fields by default in the User-Defined Fields pane and tab within open entries, using the "Show blank fields" setting.
Allow for multi selection in Advanced Searches
This setting controls how many fields you can select during an advanced search. By default, you can select only one field, but enabling the option allows you to select multiple fields.
Automatically Assign a campaign when creating a new Opportunity or Account
When creating a new Opportunity or Account, you can assign automated campaigns. Enabling this option allows Maximizer to search for existing campaigns and automatically link any relevant ones to the Opportunity or Account if the entry is subscribed to them within a specified timeframe.
Limit the search to campaigns created
This setting specifies the time period for automatically searching and assigning campaigns to new opportunities. Campaigns created outside this period need to be manually assigned to opportunities.
Display users by groups
This setting determines the display of users in dialog boxes like Add Appointment. If enabled, users are organized by group; if not, all users are listed together without grouping.
Customize Icon Bar
You can select which modules are displayed and their order that they appear in the main Maximizer user interface.
- From the Personal Preferences window click the Customize Icon Bar button.
- The Icon Bar Properties dialog box opens.
- Drag and drop the modules to your desired order.
- To hide a module, click the eye icon. A line crossing the icon indicates that it is hidden.
- To make a module visible again, click the eye icon so that the line no longer appears.
- Click OK to save changes.
Regional Settings
Locale setting determines how dates, time, numbers, and currency values are displayed in Maximizer.
- From the Locale drop-down list, select the language and region value that corresponds to the display settings.
- Time Zone – Sets your time zone. This should be set the same as your computer's time zone.
- Automatically adjust for daylight savings – Determines if times are adjusted for daylight savings.
Click Save to save the changes to your preferences.
