Information will flow in one direction from Maximizer to QuickBooks to update Basic information only; no user-defined fields will be updated. The Accounting Data from QuickBooks will flow also in one direction only to update Estimates; Invoices; Payments; and Sales Receipts.
The advantage of this Integration is that Maximizer becomes a single point of entry for basic data; which in a synchronized environment; that change to the basic data in Maximizer automatically updates the basic data in QuickBooks. Additionally the integration becomes an integrity check on the data; i.e. once an hour; the Quickbooks integration checks the synchronized entries in QuickBooks with the originating entries in Maximizer; and will update or modify any entries that are different in QuickBooks. This means; if you made a change to basic data in QuickBooks; on the next sync cycle; the information from Maximizer would overwrite the basic information in that Entry in Quickbooks.
When the Quickbooks Integration for Maximizer is configured; you will be able to review Basic information from Maximizer in QuickBooks and select QuickBooks accounting information in Maximizer.
