Features
The Maximizer Extension for Microsoft Teams allows users to search for the following records from Microsoft Teams conversations and share them in a card view without leaving the Teams chat:
- Address Book Entries
- Search individual by first name, last name, full name, email, or phone number
- Search company by company name, email, or phone number
- Search contact by first name, last name, full name, email, or phone number
- Opportunities
- Search opportunities associated with individuals by first name, last name, full name, email, or phone number
- Search opportunities associated with companies by company name, email, or phone number
- Search opportunities using objective or description. To do this, add “opp:” in front of the search phrase. For example, opp: <search phrase>
- Leads
- Search leads by first name, last name, company, email, or phone number
- Cases
- Search cases associated with individuals by first name, last name, full name, email, or phone number
- Search cases associated with companies by company name, email, or phone number. To do this, add “case:” in front of the search phrase. For example, case: <search phrase>
- Search cases by case subject and case number. To do this, add “caseno:” in front of the search phrase. For example, caseno: <search phrase>

Search for Maximizer entries without leaving your Teams app
Click on the desired entry in the search results to share it in the Teams chat
Minimum Requirements
- Maximizer Extension supports both Cloud and On-Premise Maximizer applications. However, for on-premise users, additional setup is required.
- A user must have a Maximizer account.
- A user must have a Microsoft Teams account.
Installation
Cloud Maximizer Users
- Open Microsoft Teams App > Apps marketplace.
- Search for the Maximizer extension.
- Click "Install" to add the extension to your Teams environment.
On-premise Maximizer Users
On-premise users need to log in with their OAuth client ID and secret, along with the server domain. Follow these steps to create the OAuth 2.0 client:
- Navigate to the Maximizer Administrator Page > System Options.
- Go to the "OAuth 2.0 Setting" and click "Add."
- Enter Details for new OAuth 2.0 client:
- Name: i.e., Maximizer MS Teams Extension
- Client ID: Generated by the system
- Client Secret: Generated by the system
- Redirect URI: https://ca1.maximizercrmlive.com/MSteams/Authenticate/CRMLiveRedirect
After creating the OAuth client, input the client ID and secret on the login page for OAuth authentication.
