copy-an-opportunity

To complete this procedure; you must have Insert permission for Opportunities. To copy the associated notes or documents you must also have Insert permission for notes or documents.

Use this procedure to create a new opportunity from an existing Opportunity. You have the option of copying all notes; documents; appointments; and tasks associated with the entry.

1. Click on the Opportunity to make it the current entry.

1. Select Edit Duplicate Current Entry.

• The Duplicate Entry dialog box opens.

1. Select the entries that you want to copy to the new entry; and click OK.

• Notes duplicates all notes associated with the current entry.
• Documents duplicates all document.
• Appointments and tasks duplicates incomplete appointments and tasks associated with the current entry.
