Update an Action
Update an Action
From your Gmail account; you can edit the following in Maximizer CRM:
- Contact
- Individual
- Company
- Lead
- Opportunity
- Case
This procedure describes how you can use the Google Workspace Add-on to update these entries.
To update an action:
- Open your Gmail account.

Click the MAXIMIZERCRM icon in the right pane to open the MAXIMIZERCRM Add-on dialog box.
- Click the vertical ellipses menu in the top-right corner.
- Click Update Actions.

Update a Maximizer Contact:
- Click CONTINUE next to Update Contact.
- In the Search Contact box; type a contact; and from the list that appears; select one and click SHOW.
- Update the following details as necessary:
- Click UPDATE CONTACT.

Update an Individual:
- Click CONTINUE next to Update Individual.
- In the Search Individual box; type the name of an individual; and from the list that appears; select one and click SHOW.
- Update the following details as necessary:
- Click UPDATE INDIVIDUAL.
Field | Description |
First Name | The first name of the Gmail contact that will be added as a new contact to MAXIMIZERCRM. |
Last Name | The last name of the Gmail contact that will be added as a new contact to MAXIMIZERCRM. |
Search Company/Individual | An entry to search for an existing Maximizer company or individual. |
Phone Information |
The main phone number; fax number; and the cell number of the contact.

Email Information | The email address that can be associated with this contact. Email 1 is populated with the email address you selected in step 5. Provide Email 2 and Email 3. |
Field | Description |
First Name | The first name of the Gmail individual that will be added as a new contact to MAXIMIZERCRM. |
Last Name | The last name of the Gmail individual that will be added as a new contact to MAXIMIZERCRM. |
Company Name |
An existing MAXIMIZERCRM company with which this individual will be associated.

Phone Information |
The main phone number; fax number; and the cell number of the contact.

Email Information | The email address that can be associated with this individual. Email 1 is populated with the email address you selected in step 5. Provide Email 2 and Email 3. |

Update a company:
- Click CONTINUE next to Update Company.
- In the Search Company box; type the name of a company; and when matching entries appear; select the one you want to update.
- Click SHOW.
- Update the following details as necessary:
- Click UPDATE COMPANY.

Update a lead:
- Click CONTINUE next to Update Lead.
- In the Search Lead box; type either a company; contact; or an individual. From the list of the related leads; select the lead of your interest.
- Click SHOW.
- Update the following as necessary:
- Click UPDATE LEAD.

Update an opportunity:
- Click CONTINUE next to Update Opportunity.
- In the Search Opportunity of Address Book Entry box; type either a company; contact; or individual. From the list of associated opportunities; click the one you want to update; and then click SHOW.
- Update the following as necessary:
- Click UPDATE OPPORTUNITY.

Update a case:
- Click CONTINUE next to Update Case.
- In the Search Case of Address Book Entry box; type either a company; contact; or individual. Click the one you want to update; and then click SHOW.
- From the list of related cases that appear; click the one you want to update.
- Update the following as necessary:
- Click UPDATE CASE.
Field | Description |
Company Name | The name of the company. |
Phone Information |
The main phone number; fax number; and the cell number of the contact.

Email Information | The email address that can be associated with this individual. Email 1 is populated with the email address you selected in step 5. Provide Email 2 and Email 3. |

Stage | The stage associated with this lead. |
Field | Description |
Search Contact | The name of the contact. |
Objective | The purpose of the potential sales deal. |
Description | Additional information related to the opportunity. |
Process | The process you want to associate with the opportunity. |
Stage | The stage you want to associate with the opportunity. |
Start Date | The date when the opportunity was identified. |
Sales Team | The sales team associated with this opportunity. |
Field | Description |
Search Contact | The name of the contact. Type a contact; and from the list that appears; click the one you want to associate. |
Subject | The subject of this case. The subject represents the nature of the case; or the issue related to the case. |
Description | Additional information related to the opportunity. |
Product/Services | The product or the service related to this case. |
Status | The status related to the case. |
Type | The type of the issue that the case covers. |
Assigned To | The person to whom this case is assigned. |
Follow-up | The date and time for following up on the progress of the case. |
