Use this procedure to set the number of invalid login attempts that are allowed before a Maximizer user account is locked out and to set the lockout duration.

1. In the left pane; under Preferences; select Security.
2. Click Modify Settings.
3. Specify the account lockout settings.
   • Enter the number of invalid login attempts that are allowed before the account is locked.
   • Enter the lockout duration.
4. Click Save.

By default; 5 invalid login attempts are allowed and the default lockout duration is 30 minutes.

Unlock a User Account

Use this procedure to unlock a locked Maximizer user account in order to allow the user to log in again.

1. In the left pane; under Preferences; select Security.
2. Click Modify Settings. Any locked Maximizer user accounts are displayed in the Locked user account(s) table.
3. Uncheck the Locked checkbox next to the user you want to unlock.
4. Click Save.
