When you need to figure out what is happening with Outlook Integration or you encounter errors that you cannot readily fix; you can enable logging for Outlook Integration.
| The instructions below will alter the Windows Registry on your workstation and are meant for advanced users. If you are unsure of how follow the insturctions below; please request assistance from your IT staff. |
- In Windows; open File Explorer.
- Create a folder called MaxLogs on the C: drive:
- Right-click the MaxLogs folder and select Properties.
- Select the Security tab.
- Click Edit.
- Click Add.
- Enter Everyone in the space as shown and click Check Names.
- Click OK.
- Put a check in the checkbox beside Full control; under the Allow column.
- Click OK.
- Click OK.

- The downloaded files need to be renamed:
* Rename “CreateRegKeys on x86 Windows for Workstation Logging – Outlook Sync.ger” to “CreateRegKeys on x86 Windows for Workstation Logging – Outlook Sync.reg”
* Rename “CreateRegKeys on x64 Windows for Workstation Logging – Outlook Sync.ger” to “CreateRegKeys on x64 Windows for Workstation Logging – Outlook Sync.reg”
- Double-click each ".reg" file and click through the confirmation messages.
The two files you launched alters the Windows Registry on your workstation to allow Outlook Integration to generate a log file. This log file is useful for determining the source of the error you see when saving emails or synchronizing to Maximizer.
