MASTER Password Requested for Each Record When Transferring Address Book Entries

Problem

When transferring Address Book entries between Address Books using the Transfer > Address Book Entry option, you are prompted for a MASTER password before importing each record

Reason

The MASTER user's password for the Address Book is different than the MASTER user's password in SQL.

Solution

You can do one of the following

  • Change the Address Book's MASTER user's password to match the SQL Master user's password.
  • Change the SQL Master user's password to match the Address Book's MASTER user's password. If you decide to do this, it is critical that you enter the password in uppercase letters.
