Issues Resolved

The following issue is resolved when this update is applied:

Packets Placed in Duplicate Subfolder of Inbox and Outbox

  • Under certain circumstances, if the connection to the SQL server is lost during packet processing, additional packet folders are generated below the existing ones. Packets are copied to these additional folders instead of the original folders. This issue leads to an MIA condition when the packets cannot be found to process later.

Install Instructions

Apply this hot fix to all computers running MaxExchange Synchronization Server or MaxExchange Remote Synchronization Server 10 Service Release 1.

To download and install this hot fix automatically using Live Update (if available):
  1. In Maximizer or Administrator, select Help > Maximizer Live Update.
  2. Select the update to download and install (MaxExchange Synchronization Server 10 Hot Fix 1 for Service Release 1).
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

If you are not installing the hot fix automatically using Live Update, follow the instructions below.

To install this hot fix:
  1. Close all applications.
  2. If MaxExchange Server Manager or MaxExchange Remote Server Manager 10 Service Release 1 is running, shut down the application and stop the MaxExchange Service (if applicable).
  3. Open Windows Explorer, and browse to the hot fix file (MX10SR1HF1.exe).
  4. Double-click the file.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
After applying the MaxExchange 10 Hot Fix 1 for Service Release 1 patch, you may need to go into the packet folder's subfolders and move the packets from these folders into the parent packet folder. After all packets are moved, delete the subfolders.
