Applicability

This hot fix applies to the following release:

  • Maximizer CRM 10 Service Release 1 - Series 1833

It is recommended that all Servers and Workstations that wish to use Outlook Synchronization install this Hot Fix.

Issues Resolved

The following issue is resolved when this update is applied:

Outlook Synchronization Settings for Appointments and Tasks

  • Under certain circumstances, after Maximizer CRM 10 - Service Release 1 is installed and if MaxMobile 10 is installed, the settings for appointments and tasks in Outlook synchronization preferences become disabled. In Maximizer, this is located under File > Preferences > Outlook Synchronization. This may cause issues with synchronizing appointments and tasks from Maximizer CRM 10 - Service Release 1 to Outlook.

Install Instructions

  1. Download the Maximizer CRM 10 Hot Fix 1 for Service Release 1 patch from the link above.
  2. Double click on the download and follow the instructions to complete the installation.

If you have installed the Hot Fix by renaming and replacing the MaxApp.exe file, please follow the following instructions:

  1. Browse to your ..\Maximizer\MaData6\ folder.
  2. Rename MaxApp.exe to MaxApp.mod
  3. Rename MaxApp.old to MaxApp.exe
  4. Download the Maximizer CRM 10 Hot Fix 1 for Service Release 1 patch from the link above.
  5. Double click on the download and follow the instructions to complete the installation.

Please note that Maximizer CRM 10 Hot Fix 2 for Service Release 1 contains all fixes contained in Maximizer CRM 10 Hot Fix 1 for Service Release 1. If Maximizer CRM 10 Hot Fix 1 for Service Release 1 is installed and you attempt to install Maximizer CRM 10 Hot Fix 2 for Service Release 1, it will uninstall Maximizer CRM 10 Hot Fix 1 for Service Release 1 and install Maximizer CRM 10 Hot Fix 2 for Service Release 1.
