This article provides information for Maximizer Enterprise 9 Service Pack 1 for Service Release 2 – Series 1649.
- Maximizer Enterprise 9 Service Release 2 - Series 1635 must be installed before applying this software update.
This software update contains a number of important corrections. All Maximizer Enterprise 9 users are recommended to apply this update.
The following issues are resolved when this update is applied
- Improved Support for Novell GroupWise 7
When composing an email in Maximizer, you can now select recipients from a GroupWise Address Book.
- Duplicate UDFs Created During Data Transfer
Transferring entries between databases by using
the File > Transfer command may have resulted in the
creation of duplicate user-defined fields. This issue
pertained to both the Direct Address Book access and Email
transfer methods.
- Exporting Numeric Values to Excel
Numeric values greater than 999 were not exporting properly
from a column setup to Excel.
- Issue with Saving Phone Notes
Changing the selected Address Book entry during a phone
conversation and then trying to save a note to the newly
selected entry caused Maximizer to close unexpectedly.
- Print Campaign Activities and Microsoft Word 2000
Print campaign activities failed when using
Microsoft Word 2000 (Office 2000). Also, the related logging
note was not added.
- Searching for Phone Numbers Added in the Portals
When searching for phone numbers that were added in the
Employee Portal or Partner Portal, the proper matching
results were not found.
- Appointments Deleted After Data Transferred Back
If you created appointments for an Address Book entry
after transferring the entry to another Address Book, the
appointments were deleted when the entry was transferred
back.
- Modifying the Stage for an Opportunity in Partner Portal
Previously, the stage in an opportunity was not designed to
be modified in Partner Portal. The stage can now be modified
as long as the opportunity has neither a strategy nor a
start date. This functionality is now consistent with
Employee Portal.
- Email Preference Causes Unexpected Close
Under certain circumstances, when your primary email system
was set to "Other email system" in the Advanced Email
Preferences dialog box (File > Preferences > Email > Advanced),
Maximizer unexpectedly closed. This issue occurred after
applying Maximizer Enterprise 9 Service Release 2. See the Post Installation Notes for additional information on this issue
- Printing Packing Slips and Invoices
Previously, you could print packing slips and invoices
from OrderDesk only if you selected the Preview button
before selecting the Print button.
